Before we left the Peak District, we took the opportunity to visit Bakewell on the Monday – on Market Day – not to everyone’s taste. It was very busy! We then went on to nearby Haddon Hall which we’d intended to visit on the Sunday – but Wales vs. Australia had “got in the way”!!
Anyway, here is a gallery of images of the home of Lord Edward Manners, the eldest son of the Earl of Rutland, which is being progressively and tastefully restored to its former glories – untouched by Victorian, or Edwardian, “improvements”.
Meow Gallery: The gallery is empty.
