As if by magic …

Wow!

I was well pleased with an image I took in Pontypridd back in February 2025 of a puppy sitting in a window, which I was able to enhance with Lightroom. This was an image taken with my iPhone 14 Pro …

… the enhancement is quite clear.

When we arrived in Ludlow last week (29th July), the first thing that struck me was the wonderful window displays in Corve Street, so I set about trying to capture them, knowing that reflections from the other side of the road, and even of me taking the picture were going to be included but feeling that Lightroom Classic and its Remove Reflections functionality in the Remove Tool, might enhance the image. So here are a few more before and after pairs. The originals (on the left) have had no post-processing; the edited images have had an Adaptive Profile applied, Whites, Blacks, Shadows and Highlights changed as appropriate and maybe a Transformation applied to “get the lines right”!!

Quite a transformation, and a nice bit of memorabilia.

This image shows the power of the tool. Really happy with this one.

A bit of photographic licence applied here, but it’s better than the reflection of the houses.

Not exactly a plain reflection removal as Lightroom was incapable of getting rid of me!!

My favourite of the lot, the reflections have been removed and the subject has been greatly enhanced without much other image manipulation.

So there you are. Why not try taking a picture through a window of something that has annoying reflections in it and you may be surprised by what you get.
