One of the bonuses of the canal is the still water and the reflections you get when the light is not too harsh. Here are a selection of images taken on New Years Day when Jenny and I went for the first of two walks at Forest Farm in January.

Hi David. They all look good but my favourite is the first one which gives a greater depth of colour and interest. Sony is great for capturing natural colour and Forest Farm provides a wonderful environment in which to diversify the various photographic options available. Reflections on relatively still water create a wonderful mirror effect which you have achieved.

I agree about the location, it’s sort of special isn’t it. There’s another walk there this Saturday I believe. I may try and get out with my tripod, etc. Thanks for the comment.
