The “lighthouse” in Roath Park – the memorial to Scott of the Antarctic – is a much photographed subject, but I enjoy taking pictures of it whatever the light! Slight bit of lightroom “magic” employed to get the vertical lines right.
I didn’t quite get the depth of field right on this one, but it was a bit of a challenge anyway to capture the shot peeking through a bush.
However, this fellow stood very still for me to take several shots, of which this one was the best with the reflections helping to make the picture. There are a few more images taken during some short walk around north Cardiff in the flickr album below.
