An exercise in Black & White, on a very grey day with the U3A Photography Group, and of course reflections too (I used my polarising filter quite a bit) …

But not all images benefited from the B&W treatment. For instance this one (with a little bit of colour enhancement) would not have looked as good if just changed to B&W …

… but this one (and most strong architectural features) can look quite dramatic in B&W …

… and then there’s the before and after transformation. The picture you just couldn’t get without using Transformation tools in Lightroom. A translation of this …

… into this …

… without moving at all. All done in software, and a shot and perspective that would have been impossible to get otherwise because of trees in front of the building.
