What a trip this fifth visit to Australia has been (the seventh for Jenny). Not content with my Photo Workshop with Tom Putt to The Kimberley in the north-west, the two of us went with Wayoutback Safaris to “The Red Centre”. Here’s the first of a series of images from that trip. I’ll share another

You want to see The Milky Way, you want to see shooting stars … then go to Australia, and particularly to the remote areas of the outback such as Saddleback Lookout in the Bungle Bungle National Park in The Kimberleys where this was taken. Second image in a series of three taken early in the

The last day of the workshop and an early start to view sunrise and the Milky Way near Bungle Bumgle, and then on to Cathedral Gorge. Definitely a site for song!

After an abortive trip to see a sunrise which took us to a road that had been washed-out – the wet season this year has been quite significant; we returned to Mirima NP near to Kununurra to see the end of the sunrise which let me experiment with my new-found skills. No more aperture

I’ve got enough images now to keep this blog going until the end of the year after a 6-day Photo Workshop in North-west Australia with Tom Putt, but I won’t – I’ll try and be a bit selective whilst posting the best ones to this page in due course. The one I’ve chosen from Day One
